ECC's reason for being is found in our mission statement that is posted throughout our building and on our literature: "Our First Concern: His Last Command" -- Matt. 28:19-20
ECC would like to appreciate the people who lost their lives six years ago in the World Trade Center by asking all members/visitors to take a moment of silence and pray for their families, so that God may bless them until the end of their days.
All Sunday-morning worship sermons from this day forth will be recorded in a digital MP3 format instead of on cassette tapes. Each will all be added to the Worship section of the website after church is over that day. Feel free to download them, and we are always willing to create an Audio CD for those of you with slow internet connections (the files are rather large and will take a long time to recieve on a dial-up connection).
The Search Committee for a Minister, the Elders and Deacons are pleased to present to you Mr. William (Bill) R. Warax for Senior Minister here at Erlanger. Following is a statement from his resume:
I am committed to fulfilling my call before an audience of One as I see to: "Preach the good news to the poor... to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of spirit of despair." To that end God has blessed me with a wife and children who are also committed to serving as a ministry family. My wife, Cheryl (40), to whom I (40) have ben married for 17 years and my girls, Emma Grace (9) and Olivia Faith (5) work alongside me in a ministry of encouragement and mercy. In each of the churches we have served, we have found great pleasure ministering to younger families with children while still ministering to the body of Christ as a whole.
We pray this website will be helpful to you. Please visit each area of interest to you. If you have any questions about ECC or about The Christ, please contact us via e-mail or phone, and we will be happy to respond. God Richly Bless Your Day!
